LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE

The below table gives the recommended oil applicable for this machine. Use only the recommended or equivalent oil for lubricating parts of the machine.

LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE

• FILTER / REGULATOR / LUBRICATOR COMBINATION UNIT The filter / regulator / lubricator combination unit is provided at the right side of the back guard. It delivers lubrication oil to the air cylinder for each pressure roller to ensure motion smoothness of air cylinders. Fill lubrication oil into the lubrication oil of the filter / regulator / lubricator unit.

LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE

• CENTRALIZED LUBRICATOR The centralized lubricator is mounted at the right side under the control panel, which delivers grease to all slideways to ensure motion smoothness for all slideways. The centralized lubricator has a grease distributor and grease nipples which are individually connected to each slide. Lubrication points are as shown in the figure below. Shoot grease through each grease nipple at least once a week.

LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE

Lubricate the machine periodically or as required.

• Grease nipples are also provided on the suspended wheel shaft for each set of pressure rollers, left and back of lock screws on the infeed fence and the top side of each spindle. Shoot grease through these grease nipples to lubricate the parts.

• ALL FEED SCREWS Directly coat grease on all feed screws. Lubrication frequency is at least once a week.

• ALL SLIDEWAYS Fill lubrication oil directly on all slideways. Lubrication frequency is a least once a week.

• ALL MOVEABLE JOINTS Fill lubrication oil directly on all moveable joints. Lubrication frequency is at least once a week.

ADJUSTING THE BELT TENSION

After the machine has been operating for a long period, the belt tension may loosen gradually. At this time, it is suggested that the belt tension be adjusted by shifting the belt tension adjustment lever.

• UP / DOWN SPINDLE ADJUSTMENT: The control buttons provided at the right-hand lower side of the machine are used for raising or lowering the spindle. Press the ↑ button for raising the spindle. Press the ↓ button for lowering the spindle.

ADJUSTING SPINDLE

After the machine has been operating for a long period, the belt tension may loosen gradually. At this time, it is suggested that the belt tension be adjusted by shifting the belt tension adjustment lever. FORWARD / BACKWARD ADJUSTMENT:

• Loosen the forward/backward position lock lever by using the supplied double open-end wrench. Turn it counterclockwise for loosening.

• Turn the spindle adjustment lever clockwise to move the spindle forward. Turn it counterclockwise to move the spindle backward.

• After the spindle position has been adjusted, tighten the spindle forward/backward position lock lever by turning it clockwise.
