This monthly inspection is designed to identify early signs of wear, contamination, or misalignment in key mechanical and pneumatic systems.

The Parsons Monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedure outlines a comprehensive checklist to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment at the Alphia – Woodland facility. This monthly inspection is designed to identify early signs of wear, contamination, or misalignment in key mechanical and pneumatic systems.
LOTO REQUIRED? Ensure Lockout Tagout procedures are followed before starting maintenance.
Grease zerks with multi-purpose synthetic grease until first sign of grease around the seal.
Check tension and condition of belts, pulleys, and set screws.
Check tension and alignment of sprockets, inspect for wear.
Drain water from air separator and check oil level in air oiler.
Inspect air filter for dirt and debris, replace if necessary.
Check for air leaks in valves, hoses, and cylinders.
Inspect vacuum cups for cracks and wear, clean filters.
Check vacuum generators for dirt, clean out obstructions.
Inspect Prox switches, clean dust and debris.
Clean behind the Buckets.
Remove and clean top and bottom buckets from designated scale heads.
Replace top bolts with precut all thread for scale heads maintenance.
Slide out scale heads on all thread rods and vacuum behind them.
Reassemble units after cleaning, ensuring correct orientation.
Check all doors, emergency stops, and interlocks for proper operation.
Ensure all guards
Notify supervisor that equipment requires sanitization.
All tools accounted for and sanitized?
