Whizzer Air Separator
Follow this procedure for the regular inspection of your whizzer air separator and all its components to ensure proper working condition.
Inspect guards, motor mounts, bearings
Inspect sheaves, verify alignment
Confined space needed
Blow down drive assembly
Inspect belts and/or coupling for wear, cracking, tension, alignment
Inspect feed pipe
Inspect liners, repair as needed
Inspect inlet box, repair as needed
Verify all seals are in place and functional (gearbox, coupling, housing)
Blow off all blades upper and lower, inspect placement and wear, repair as needed
Inspect gearbox for leaks and visual condition
Inspect Chinaman hat condition, repair as needed
Inspect interior and exterior door seals
Examine overall assembly condition for fit and function
Run assembly and verify proper operation before turning back to operations
Clean up
Document inspection and work completed
