Plasma Cutter - Annual Cleaning and Inspection
This annual maintenance procedure is used to clean and inspect Thermal Dynamics and Hypertherm plasma cutters to help ensure safe and reliable operation. The checklist includes removing dust and debris, inspecting internal electrical components and connections, checking air filtration systems, and verifying the machine is returned to proper working condition after service.
Preparation
* Safety Glasses * Steel Toe Boots Or Shoes * Hearing Protection As Required * Lockout Tagout As Required
*Vacuum *General tool Bag
Preventative Maintenance
* Visually inspect for loose connections, excessive corrosion, electrical burns, damage wiring, arching, and pitting. Repair or replace parts as necessary. * Reinstall cover when complete
Clean or replace as necessary
Final Checks
* Re-install any Panels or components that were removed during maintenance. * Remove Lockout Tagout (As Necessary) * Energize all power sources (As Necessary) * Return Asset to Operating Condition (As Necessary) * Visually confirm that equipment powered on as intended
