Butler County Area 3000 Daily Check
This procedure covers the daily check for Area 3000, including draining IA tanks, checking lube oil filter differential pressure, bearing and scavenger sight glasses, feed compressor oil level, and various DP gauges and coalescing filters. It also includes GC calibration and carrier gas line/tank pressures, KECO gas settings and fluid/tape levels, Atlas Copco instrument air compressor checks, tailgas CH4 percentage, and confirming the area is clean and organized.
Plant Running? (If no, mark WO as Done)
Check DP across Lube Oil Filters PDT-211 (How many PSI difference)
Check Bearing Site Glass
Check Both Scavenger Site Glasses (FAIL IF OIL IS PRESENT IN BOTH GLASSES)
Feed Compressor Oil Level @ V-3102
Check DP gauge @ V-3101 (if >3 replacement is required)
Check PDT-114 @ V-3121 (if >7.0 replacement is required)
Check PDT-315 @ V-3121
Check PDT-315 @ V-3121 (If DP >5 Flag/fail)
Check PDT-319 @ Coalescent Filter
Check PDT-319 @ Coalescent Filter (If DP > 6, replace)
Check/Drain the coalescing filter 3145A
Check/Drain the coalescing filter 3145B
Are Oil Containment Plugs installed? (If running, they need to be)
Check DP @ Coalescent Gauge H2S Vessel
Check DP @ Coalescent Gauge (H2S Vessel, If DP > 6, replace)
Listen for Squeeking coming from Cooling Fan
GC Cal Gas Line Pressure (if not set to 15psi fail the inspection)
GC Cal Gas Tank Pressure (if less than 50psi replace)
GC Carrier Gas Line Pressure
GC Carrier Gas Line Pressure (if not set to 90psi fail the inspection)
GC Carrier Gas Tank Pressure
GC Carrier Gas Tank Pressure (If less than 200psi replace)
GC Sample Line Pressure
GC Sample Line Pressure (if not set to 15psi fail the inspection)
Check GC for any Active Alarms (Note any active alarms)
Check Instrument Gas PSI @ Tank
Check Area 3000 Condensate tank for evidence of oil
Check MCC (verify air is working)
Was Input Seal Jar emptied out?
Feed Compressor Hour Reading
Tailgas CH4 %
Tailgas CH4 % (Needs to be 4% or less)
Take picture of tox
