Equipment Inspection - Forklift
This procedure outlines the required inspection steps to verify the safe operating condition of a forklift. The technician will conduct both a visual inspection with the forklift powered off and a functional inspection with the machine running. This process ensures that critical components—such as tires, forks, mast, hydraulics, safety devices, and engine systems—are in proper working order. Completing this inspection helps maintain operator safety, prevent equipment failure, and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
