AHI-Auto Handling Unit Annual Preventive Maintenance
The annual PM includes a full inspection of motors, belts, rollers, and bearings, with lubrication and replacement as needed. Electrical systems, sensors, and safety interlocks are tested to ensure proper function. The unit is cleaned, calibrated, and verified for smooth, reliable operation.
Inspect and grease/oil bearings
Check for any air leaks, repair as required
Verify all pneumatic pressure settings are correct, adjust or repair as required
Inspect all position sensors. verify proper adj and operation
Check for any loose, broken or missing bolts, nuts, belts, repair as req
Check stripper arm roller and cylinder for proper operation, if applicable
Check and lube slide bearings/linear, repair as req
Check all lift table air cylinders for proper operation, leaks, rpr as req
Check all belts, tracks, table coverings, etc for damage/wear, rpr as req
Remove any covers and inspect drive apparatus, if applicable, rpr as req
Check all ahi supports, structure, etc. for damage, rpr as req
Check support roller and air cylinder/hydraulic cylinder, rpr as req
Verify proper operation of core pusher, check belts, chain, sprockets and pulleys, lubricate as req, repair as required
Check core bins, check proximity switches, air cylinders, air lines, guides, clean, adjust and repair as req
Check gearbox for leaks, levels, (if applicable), fill and repair as req
Check all poly-rope conveyors for proper operation, repair as req
Check all safety guards, gates and fences are secure, repair as req
Verify operation and condition of gate switches, adjust/repair as req
Verify all electrical cabinets are cleaned out and closed
Check pivot conveyor belt, pivot points, drive chain(belt), bearings and sensors are in good condition, repair as req
Check scales for damage, calibrate as required, repair as req
Check and verify home position, adjust as required
Check all safety switches and e-stops are functioning, repair as req
If an item requires repair and needs to be scheduled, enter it as a separate work order so it can be addressed in a timely matter. if it is a safety concern, shut equipment down and repair immediately. either way enter repair work order # in the notes and explain in comments what was done
