Amada Band Saw Annual PMs

Conduct annual inspections of the band saw to ensure its proper functioning and identify any potential safety issues. Maintain a maintenance schedule to address equipment repairs or replacements promptly.

Amada Band Saw Annual PMs

Change Speed Reducer Oil

Press and hold the blade down button to move the sawhead down to the lower limit.
Press the Hydraulic Off button to stop the hydraulic pump.
Open the circuit breaker and de-energize the machine.
Remove the filler plug on the speed reducer.
Remove the drain plug on the speed reducer and drain the oil.
Once completely drained, replace the drain plug.
Fill with new oil (90W) to the middle of the sight gauge, (0.53 gallons).
Replace the filler plug.
