Follow inspection sheet and log all finings, repair or replace where necessary.
Isolate and lock off power before work starts
Blades: Check blades for wear and set gaps
Blade assembly: Check bearings and grease
Blade drive and belts: Clean fan cover and check fixings. Check belt tensions and replace if worn or damaged.. Ensure pulleys are aliened
Metal detector: Check for any air leaks.
Metal detector: Check reject flap for and wear or damage. Ensure seal is intact.
Metal detector: Test and check for correct operation.
Filter unit: Check drive coupling or drive belt
Filter unit: Check filter shaft and bearings.
Filter unit: Check filter basket for any defects, may need welding etc.
Screw feed: Check bearings if any and check security of motor, Clamps in place etc.
Electrical Panel: Check for any sign of burned out terminals checking for tightness.
Safety circuit: Prove out all safety switches and estops
