Health and Safety

• LOTO the machine after moving it to the needed place

• unplug the brake 24VDC cable from the power module and inject an external 24 VDC in order to release the brakes

• Wear the appropriate PPE

• Check on the tools before usage

• As soon as you finish making the mechanical adjustment and positioning , take that 24 VDC jumper away and plug the brake cable again into its designated terminal

Maintenance

• Install the X=0 pins in place

• Move the bridge to X=100

• loosen the clamp located on the left portion of the flange( Drive side) using a 4mm Allen key (make sure you have a good grip otherwise you will damage the screws head and make it difficult to

• Unscrew all the 06 screws holding the clamp tight within the flanges

• there are 03 other holes with the same threads on the clamp use the same screws to tighten these (it needs to be balanced tightening, little by little and you keep rotating between the screws to make the clamp open evenly

• Once the clamp disengaged you can push each side of the gantry separately and that is what we need (no moore connection between the two sides)

• Push the gantry until the scraper plate touches the edge of the X=0 pins (make sure both side are touching)

• Access with Homag service account and Change the value of the X1 encoder to X=0 , (left side of the window) and compile

• Loosen the 03 Allen screws with a 4mm key and put back the 06 Allen screws in there appropriate place and tighten respecting a diagonal order to make the tightening balanced and even

• You can double check by using a big level and by sending the machine to X=7390 (which the 0 position of the table and see if the Y axe rails are leveled with stopper beam ( you need to move the stopper beam up for better reading)

• Make a backup (to have it updated and ready to go)

• Take the X=0 pins out and put them back inside the electrical cabinet
