Overall Visual Inspection
Inspect the crane for any visible damage or wear
Pendent Inspection
Check pendent for proper operation
Check pendent condition
Check pendent for proper labeling
if the answer is "oneOf [FLAG,FAIL]"
Replace Label that's damaged (note which was replaced)
Hook Inspection
Check hook for deformation
Check hook for cracks
Safety Latch Inspection
Check safety latch on hoist hook
Hoist Cable/Chain Inspection
Check condition of hoist cable/chain
Check end connections of hoist cable/chain
Verify hook stops at upper and lower limits
Check condition of all Safety Retractable Lifeline stops (RED Cable)
Does this Crane have the cable installed on it
if the answer is "oneOf [Yes]"
Verify cable is in good condition
Trips and red light illuminates
Stops crane from that direction of movement
Reset button and make sure red light turns off
Verify Crane will operate in that direction once again
