Drive, Non Drive, Takeup, Breakover or snub idler
please inspect for lagging on drive pulleys, bent wings on self cleaning pulleys, under greased/worn out bearings, visibly damaged shafts ect.
conveyor condition
please inspect for overall wear and condition of belt, is it down to wires? does it have already patched holes and there condition? how is the original belt splice, is there any clips damaged or missing, is it a vulcanized splice and is it in good condition?
Guarding
Inspect all guarding for any non manufactured holes, Broken hangers ect.
Framework/guides
inspect all framework for defects that could impact stability, and all guides/slides for proper function.
Trough or return idlers
inspect condition of all trough or return idlers, please install piece of caution tape or take photo of any broken idlers for the purpose of creating work orders from this inspection
