Quarterly Preventive Maintenance for Oven

The Quarterly PM (Preventive Maintenance) for Oven procedure involves a thorough inspection and servicing of the oven every three months to ensure safe and efficient operation. Tasks include checking heating elements, calibrating temperature controls, cleaning interior and exterior surfaces, and inspecting electrical and safety components for wear or damage.

    EXHAUST FANS

    There are 4 exhaust fans on top of the oven. Repeat these steps for all of them. Remove the gaurds over the motor, belts, pulleys, and bearings. Inspect the belt and pulleys for wear, damage, and alignment. Repair or replace if necessary. Inspect the shaft and bearings for unusual / excessive wear. Grease the bearings, wipe any excess grease off of the fitting and bearing. Replace gaurds.

    CIRCULATOR FANS

    There are 16 circulator fans on the sides of the oven. Repeat these steps for all of them. Remove the gaurds over the motor, belts, pulleys, and bearings. Inspect the belt and pulleys for wear, damage, and alignment. Repair or replace if necessary. Inspect the shaft and bearings for unusual / excessive wear. Grease the bearings, wipe any excess grease off of the fitting and bearing. Replace gaurds.

    BURNERS / PREMIX FANS

    There are 11 burners on the oven. Each burner has a premix fan, with screen filters. All screen filters are to be removed, sprayed with oven cleaner and rinsed with water. Visually inspect all conduit, flex, and controls for any damage. Repair as necessary.
