MTN 016 Warehouse Racking Inspection Procedure

Follow the routine inspection procedure checklist below to ensure warehouse racking systems are structurally sound and safe for continued use.

1. Walk round and check every upright and every beam for signs of any damage.

2. If it is only minor damage report it, and get it fixed as soon as possible.

3. If it quite serious damage then everyone must be kept away while the racking is emptied around the damaged area, and not used again until the damaged has been fixed.

4. Check to see if all the locking pins are still in each beam and make sure none of the locking pins are missing.

5. Create new work order for any damage you have found and upload a picture to that work order
