Daily Critical Reliability Checklist
Use the guideline and complete checklist below to ensure information is documented and the correct temperature and levels are checked at all times.
Record boiler pressure: (75 to 100 PSIG)

Check boiler chemical levels
Test/record boiler water chemistry
Test low water cut-off alarm. Document on FM Global Red Tag System
Record stack temperature on boiler. Max: 475 F

Record feed water tank temperature: (180 F-200 F)

Ensure feed water pumps are running and feed water tank level is adequate
Check boiler flame condition (should be mostly blue)
Record water hardness after polishing softener. (0 PPM)

Check compressor cooling air filter present/clean
Check oil level is normal (range specified by OEM)
Check air dryer is running
Check air tank blow-down is operating properly
Inspect all water pumps for leaks
Inspect integrity of shaker screen
Record tempered water temperature (70-100 F)

Check water levels in hot and tempered storage tanks
Check that EQ tank blower/mixer is running (if applicable)
Check that pit mixer/blower is running (if applicable)
Check that WW chemistry mixer is running (if applicable)
Ensure wash alley trench screen is cleaned
Record temperature of city water in / city water out
Record temperature of WW water in / WW water out
Calculate and record approach reading (Approach = WW water in - city water out)
With softener, record softener output water hardness (<3 grains)
