C1 Turn Maintenance

The aim is to maintain the equipment’s condition and reliable performance through routine inspection and servicing. This maintenance helps identify wear, damage, and potential faults early, allowing timely corrective action to prevent unexpected breakdowns, minimize downtime, and extend equipment service life.

    Shifts Covering Turn

    After Mini-Turns: Ensure the vacuum system is ready to use BEFORE turn (CHECK ALL BARRELS & FILTERS)

    DD DC dp reading (If above 5.0 unit must be shut down)

    Vac DC dp reading (If above 5.0 unit must be shut down)

    4 HOURS BEFORE CAMPAIGN COMPLETION

    Alarms ? (Review campaign history)

    Snag Sheet Items / Review TPM board

    PM's due ? Calibrations due?

    Please document the date & time the coat tank was vented.

    LOTO is required for servicing the load chambers. Please place your lock on the chamber that you are servicing

    Verify cable connections at the feedthrough on the bottom of the load chamber and connections at all 3 servo motors. Clean and wipe down all 3 assemblies

    Feeder bearing (spin test / flush / lube)

    Tri-shaft bearings (slide test / flush). Ensure tri-shaft wiper brushes are making full contact when returned to service.

    Verify both Butterfly and Tandem Tilt prox's are set to proper gap of .030, bracket is straight and turn on when flagged.

    Inspect rotation pinion and ring gear assy for wear / damage. Please insert a photo here of the rotation gears from CH 2 only, thanks.

    Water hoses (Inspect for excessive wear)

    Remove rake clamps, clean, tap bolt holes, install new bolts with boron nitride on threads

    Inspect Heat Shield on Stinger (ensure it's level)

    Using the rake arm no-go gauge, slide it over both wear bands for the short and long arms to verify that it does not go "on".

    Humidity Reading in the Room when closed up.(sensor next to computer)

    Notes / additional items serviced? How much time did that take? Should that work happen under a different WO?

    How long did pump down take? From they time they hit evac to the time it crossed over?
