With front and rear doors off, inspect roll corrugation.

100% to 75% corrugation PASS - 75% to 50% FLAG - less than 50% FAIL

Being careful of hand placement, rotate the rolls and inspect rolls for any break outs or large dents in roll. Visual inspect for cracks in the roll.

Inspect discharge hopper for build up. Clear debris and build up as needed. Try to remove from system, not just knock it into system if possible.

Inspect feed roll for wear to ribs.

Drive/ Idle belt inspection

Drive side - Inspect both top and bottom roll drive belts for wear. Wear could be cracking, dry rot, splitting, or wear from spinning on pulley. Replace as needed.

Inspect idle side/ timing belt side for wear. Ensure all teeth are present on timing belt.

Check for dry rotting on belt, cracking, or glazing.

Notify operations of work being performed.

Perform LOTO of equipment tied to asset. Both drive motors and the feeder motor.

Remove front roll panels and rear roll panels.

Remove top rear plate from machine to access feed roll hopper.

Remove side inspection doors from machine.

Roll Inspection

Corrugation should have ever wear across entirety of roll.

With front and rear doors off, inspect roll corrugation.

Feed Roll Inspection

Inspect feed roll for wear to ribs.

Inspect hopper feeding into feed roll for build up. Clear debris or buildup as needed.

After inspections are complete, reinstall all covers and guarding.

Drive/ Idle belt inspection

This is for the drive side, and the idle side belts.

Drive side - Inspect both top and bottom roll drive belts for wear. Wear could be cracking, dry rot, splitting, or wear from spinning on pulley. Replace as needed.

Inspect idle side/ timing belt side for wear. Ensure all teeth are present on timing belt.

Check for dry rotting on belt, cracking, or glazing.

Ensure all hubs are tight on shaft and pulleys are aligned.

Check belt tension on both side of machine, top and bottom. tighten if needed.

Clean belt tension rod and roll tension rod or dirt. Apply a light coat of grease or lubricant to threads to prevent rust.

Using GREEN grease - 10 pumps per bearing

Remove cover to inspect product funnel alignment. Ensure Teeth of front roll are centered within window on product funnel. Adjust funnel as needed.

Unlock machine and have operations start equipment and verify correct operation of machine.

Make sure all trash and tools are cleaned up per FSQR and Housekeeping policy.

Sign after completion of work.
