Cracker Inspection (OLCC)

This checklist is used to inspect new cracker for malfunctions or needed repairs.

    Roll Inspection

    Corrugation should have ever wear across entirety of roll.

    100% to 75% corrugation PASS - 75% to 50% FLAG - less than 50% FAIL

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Visually inspect that hubs are fully inserted into roll ends.

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Being careful of hand placement, rotate the rolls and inspect rolls for any break outs or large dents in roll. Visual inspect for cracks in the roll.

    Using a mirror, check condition of product funnel between the rolls.

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Inspect discharge hopper for build up. Clear debris and build up as needed. Try to remove from system, not just knock it into system if possible.

    Feed Roll Inspection

    Inspect feed roll for wear to ribs.

    Feed roll shaft be secure in channel and not move side to side or have any rotational play.

    Inspect hopper feeding into feed roll for build up. Clear debris or buildup as needed.

    • Pass

    • Fail

    Drive/ Idle belt inspection

    This is for the drive side, and the idle side belts.

    Check for dry rotting on belt, cracking, or glazing.

    Sign after completion of work.
