Bi-Weekly Gyoza Conveyor Mechanical PM

This procedure outlines the steps for performing bi-weekly mechanical preventive maintenance on the Gyoza shuttle and recycle conveyor systems, including lockout, inspection, cleaning, adjustment, and verification. It helps ensure the equipment operates reliably, identifies wear or damage early, and supports safe, sanitary production conditions.

Inspect shuttle conveyor drive sprockets for wear, damage, and alignment. Verify set screws are tight.

Check the shuttle belt for signs of wear, fraying, or damage.

Inspect drive rollers for powder dust. Clean if present. Excessive powder dust can effectively increase roller size, causing belt stretch and bearing stress, leading to premature damage or failure. Note that bearings are sealed and should be replaced if they've run out of grease.

Check bearings for rolling noise or shakiness. Replace sealed bearings if issues are found or if they've lost lubrication

Inspection of the recycle conveyor belt

Inspect the recycle belt for signs of wear, fraying, or damage (cut marks). check the center guide track for any damage.
