Konig Discharge Belt (finger Belts) Daily Preventive Maintenance

Daily or every 10 operating hours:

• Check transport belt (1) for wear.

• Check belt run and belt tension and adjust if necessary.

Adjusting belt run and belt tension. Re-tensioning is only recommended if one of the belts is actually slipping. Otherwise, allow the belts to run as loosely as possible.

• Loosen the lock nuts (5).

• Adjust each belt by moving the respective deflection roller (4) with the aid of tensioning screws (6)

• Retighten the counter nuts (5).

Loosen the respective counter nuts and turn each corresponding tensioning screw by 90° clockwise (increase belt tension), or 90° counter-clockwise (reduce belt tension). Always tension both screws (6) by the same amount when making an adjustment.
