  • Time required

  • 1 minute to prepare - 5 minutes to complete, once fryer has reached cooking temperature. Cook temperature should be reached in approximately 45 minutes.

  • At open - For 24-hour restaurants: during low-volume periods

  • Calibrate pyrometer.

  • Place probe in water

  • Read temperature

  • Turn on fryer and heat oil.

  • Check oil level

  • Oil in the fryer is very hot. Use gloves.

  • Cycle vat.

  • Read oil temperature.

  • Display temperature on fryer.

  • Compare temperature readings.

  • Repeat for other side of splitvat.

  • End calibration check.

  • Calibrate remaining fryers.
