  • Put on protective gear

  • Hot oil can cause severe burns

  • Check filter pan

  • Lift elements (electric only)

  • Use protective gloves when lifting elements or burns could result.

  • Be careful not to damage the probe in center of elements.

  • Scrub inside vat

  • Be careful not to damage the probes.

  • Scrub the oil sensor (gas only).

  • Scrub complete

  • Washing

  • Wash again

  • Rinsing

  • Rinse again

  • Polish

  • Fill vat

  • Is Vat Full?

  • Turn power on

  • Tip

  • Pull-out filter pan

  • The filter pan may be hot! Use protective gloves, or severe burns may result.

  • Remove crumb basket

  • Remove filter pad hold down ring

  • Remove filter pad from pan

  • Remove bottom inner screen

  • Clean filter drain pan

  • Reassemble
