The Fryer Frymaster Frymaster LOV Electric Fryer (BIELA) Quarterly Maintenance Form has cleaning procedures that focus on frypot and heating elements.

Clean the Frypot and Heating Elements

DANGER: Never operate the appliance with an empty frypot. The frypot must be filled to the fill line with water or cooking oil before energizing the elements.

Failure to do so will result in irreparable damage to the elements and may cause a fire.

Deep Clean (Boiling Out) the Frypot

After the fryer has been in use for a period of time, a hard film of caramelized cooking oil will form on the inside of the frypot.

This film should be periodically removed by following the deep-clean (boil-out) procedure contained in Kay Chemical “Fryer Deep Clean Procedure” instructions.

Refer to page 4-25 for specific details on setting up the computer for deep clean (boil-out) operation.

REPLACE THE O-RINGS

Refer to McDonald’s MRC cards for specific details on replacing the O-rings on the filter connection.
