Daily Inspection List
This procedure covers the daily inspection of the extrusion line, including checking the die heat and barrel temperatures, oil levels and leaks, thermocouple connections, and barrel cooling fans. It also confirms all guards are in place, the panel door is closed, the control cabinet AC is working, and the puller belts are in good condition.
Inspect Each Item
Check Die Heat and Barrel Temperatures
Check oil levels and make sure no leaks
Make sure thermocouplers are plugged in
Make sure barrel cooling fans are operational
Make sure all guards are in place, panel door is closed, and control AC is working
Check puller belts
