    FANUC ROBOT

Confirm the controller ventilation system is not dusty. If dust has accumulated, remove it.

Check the external damage or peeling paint

Check whether the robot has external damage or peeling paint due to the interference with the peripheral equipment. If an interference occurs eliminate the cause. Also, if the external damage is serious, and causes a problem in which the robot will not operate, replace the damaged parts.

    Retightening the external main bolts

Retighten the bolts which are installed, removed in the inspection, and exposed. Refer to the recommended bolt tightening torque guidelines at the end of the manual. Some bolts are attached with adhesive. If the bolts are tightened with greater than the recommended torque, the adhesive might be removed. Therefore, follow the recommended bolt tightening torque guidelines when retightening the bolts.
