Power Supply Verification (ECCO Safety Group - Boise)
Checking power supply accuracy against a traceable reference keeps test and production equipment delivering the correct voltage.
Power Supply Verification (ECCO Safety Group - Boise)
This procedure checks a power supply's voltage by comparing its displayed reading with a digital multimeter (DMM) measurement against set upper and lower tolerances, and recording the As Found and As Left results. It also records the details and calibration dates of the equipment used, who completed the check and when, and includes a traceability statement referencing NIST.

ECCO Technicians make Pass/Fail Statements of compliance by comparing the verification data against the tolerance(s) without factoring in the measurement uncertainty. Reference of Traceability The critical instruments used for this verification are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) through certification documents on file at ECCO. Verification is performed in compliance with MIL STD 45662A. A critical instrument is any equipment that requires verification.
