Equipment Inspection - Table Benders
This procedure outlines the required inspection steps for table benders. The technician performs cleaning, safety, and mechanical checks to ensure all components operate correctly and the work area remains safe and free of hazards.
Equipment Inspection - Table Benders
Equipment Inspection – Table Benders refers to a routine check of table-bending machines to ensure their mechanical components, safety features, and alignment systems are functioning properly. These inspections are important because they prevent equipment failure, ensure accurate and consistent bends, reduce safety risks for operators, and extend the machine’s lifespan. Regular maintenance also minimizes downtime and supports reliable production quality.
Date of Inspection
Prior to beginning inspection, bender must be turned off (make sure to release any stored energy)
vacuum the slag off the top of the machine (where build up occurs) before moving or inserting any pins
