Visual and Operational Checks
Check for any visual alarms on top of cabinet
Record Differential Pressure (dp) from magnehelic gauge

Is the Differential Pressure within the nominal operating range of 0.6kpa to 1.1kpa?
Inspect and record Hopper Temperatures
Inspect and Ensure Hopper heating element is working correctly
Check inside walls of hopper is clean, and there is no build up.
Inspect if required Clean-air chamber inspection
Is there ingress of water from pipe work or hatches, Report if there is ingress of water from pipe work or hatches.
Check hopper door seals correctly.
Check fan belts, bearings, check condition of pulleys, belts, adjust belts, replace if required. (belts 3 x PMG – SPC 3750)

Grease bearings on fan bearing blocks, check level in lubricator if fitted.
(Electrician only) Check condition of main control panel wiring, and components.
Trigger the pulse valves are controlled to fire when DP reaches the high set point, and turn off when DP reaches low set point. To trigger the firing, move the upper set point (red) needle on the magnehelic down to below the black needle, after pulse firing is proven, move the set point needle back to its original position.

Check compressed air system for leaks and organize repair if required
Check compressed air filter trap and drain water if required
22. Inspect Compressed Air dryer to ensure system is working correctly.
Drum and Material Handling
Check drums for moisture and level, replace if required
Inspect Ash Drum connection to Bag House sealing to drum. Rain can run down the side of the Bag House, and the suction can draw water into Bag House causing damage. Check for holes in lid. Additional plastic may be required.
General Inspection
Check for any abnormal noises, leaks, or vibration
Ensure all guards and covers are in position
Is the Ladder and handrails, access ways clear and in good condition?
