Turn Roller Inspection and PM

This procedure ensures that turn rollers are systematically inspected and maintained, covering bearing condition, alignment, lubrication, and surface wear, preventing premature failure, maintaining smooth and consistent material flow, and supporting uninterrupted conveyor or processing operations through structured and regularly documented preventive maintenance practices.

    It is best to Inspect Turn rolls when there are no poles on them, however this is not always possible. If you are unable to inspect a set of Turn rolls without a shaft on it, do your best to do a visual of the inspection items. (Note: DO NOT put yourself at risk when preforming these inspections.) If in your inspection you identify an item that requires maintenance, have the operator remove shaft from the Turn Rolls.
