🔍 Visual Inspection

• Inspect pump body and housing for cracks, rust, or corrosion

• Check for oil or fluid leaks

• Inspect hoses and fittings for signs of wear or damage

• Look for abnormal wear on mounting hardware or base

⚙️ Mechanical Checks

• Check pump alignment and mounting stability

• Listen for unusual noises during operation (grinding, rattling)

• Verify pump inlet and outlet connections are secure

• Inspect coupling for misalignment or wear

• Check for vibration; isolate cause if excessive

Lubrication & Fluids

• Check oil level in the pump reservoir (top off if needed)

• Drain and replace oil if discolored or per OEM interval

• Inspect oil for metal shavings or contamination

• Check lubricant type and confirm compatibility with OEM specs

🌬️ Vacuum System Integrity

• Check vacuum lines and seals for leaks (listen for hissing)

• Inspect and clean or replace vacuum filters

• Verify that the vacuum gauge reads within normal operating range

• Confirm the system is holding vacuum effectively under load

🧼 Cleaning

• Clean exterior of pump to prevent buildup and overheating

• Clear any blockages or debris from intake and exhaust areas
