Trumpf Press Brake Hydraulic Hose Inspection

Hose connectors are also inspected carefully during preventative maintenance. Cracks, corrosion, and other damage to the connectors will inevitably lead to leaks, and the longer these issues are neglected, the more intensive the damage and repairs become.

Trumpf Press Brake Hydraulic Hose Inspection

Inspect for Defects in the hydraulic system hoses

Damage on the outer layer extending to the inner lining (e.g. abrasions, cuts or tears)
Brittleness of the outer layer (crack formation on the hose material)
Deformations not corresponding to the natural form of the hose in a depressurized or a pressurized state or when bent (separation of layers, blistering, crushed or bent areas)
Leaks
Evidence of incorrect attachment or installation.
Damage or distortion of the fittings which diminishes function and stability of the fittings or impairs the connection between hose and fitting.
Corrosion of the fittings.
Expired storage or service life (if indicated on the hose or fitting)
