AMF SABER 75 OPERATIONS MANAUALS & TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

Flight Infeed Conveyor

• Flights - Inspect each flight for straightness and tightening. Inspect for missing cotter pins or bent flight pin

• Belt Tension - Pull on chains to verify looseness. Adjust binders as required.

• Elevator, Cam and Cam Follower - Lift elevator by hand, it should go up easily

• Drive Chain - Pull on the chain and ensure properly tensioned and aligned. Pull on chains for looseness. Adjust binder as required. Clean and lubricated with EP2 type grease.

• Pass

BLADES

• Blade Guides - Visually inspect for straightness and wear. Replace or straighten damaged ones

• Blade Spacing - Inspect blade spacing width and height mechanisms for backlash. • Insert the crank into Open and Raise holes, and turn in both directions to feel the excessive looseness.

• Blade Break Detector Bars Inspect all bars for proper operation. “Blade Break Detector Bars” on page 27

• Visually inspect blade sharpness - Blades need to be replaced when excessive bread crumbs appear on top of loaves or slice tears.

DISCHARGE CONVEYOR

• Flights - Inspect each flight for straightness and tightening. Inspect for missing cotter pins or bent flight pin

• Drive Chains - Pull chain for looseness, adjust using binder. Inspect discharge drive chains tension and alignment

• Clean and lubricated with EP2 type grease

• Pass
• Flag
• Fail

PNUEMATIC ASSEMBLY

• Inspect pneumatic assembly hoses for leaks

• Ensure there is no leakage on the air filter regulator assembly

• Empty the filter drain bottles as needed.

• Ensure filtration air pressure gage indicates 80 psi minimum

• Ensure the optional water and/or oiler air pressure gage indicates 30 psi.

• Verify the entire assembly for leakage
