Follow this procedure for the monthly inspection of your crane to ensure its good working condition.
Inspect Runway for defects
Inspect runway stops
Check battery charger for backup batteries
Inspect rail splicing
Verify load rating is posted
Test warning device
Walkway cleanliness
Test functions of Hoist
Verify transmitter is properly labeled
Verify fluids in gear boxes
Test brake functions on hoist
Test brake functions on bridge.
Inspect the condition of the wire rope
Inspection the latch on the hook
Inspect the collector shoes
