The aim of the Daily B-Shift Shackle Lowerator Inspection is to ensure the shackle lowerator is in safe, reliable working condition before the B shift to prevent equipment failure and maintain operational safety.

Daily B-shift Shackle Lowerator Inspector

Follow lockout tagout and all safety procedures If you have any questions concerning the procedures notify your supervisor

Step#1 Check gear box oil replace and fill as needed

Step#2 Inspect all bolts and nuts for proper tension

Step#3 Check sprockets for were and bearing failure replace as needed

Step#4 Check chain and chain links for were and breaks lube if needed

_ Step#5 Check chain for proper tension

Step#6 Check for broken welds repair as needed

Step#7 Check saddle alignment with top rail adjust as needed
