Konig Forming Station Weekly Preventive Maintenance

Chains, Belts, Bearings.

• Check belt run and belt tension of the upper belt and adjust if necessary.

• Check the chain tension and lubrication of the drive chains (8, 9) and re-tighten or lubricate if necessary.

• Lubricate the flange bearings (17) on the operating and drive sides of the lubricating nipple

• Check the belt cleaning brush (3) and scraper (1) for wear and replace them if necessary

Remove/install brush (3):

• Turn the lever (4) upwards.

• Remove the brush and check/replace.

• Insert brush and lock with lever (4) (turn lever downwards).

Removing/installing scraper (1):

• Turn the lever (2) downwards.

• Remove the scraper and check/replace.

• Insert scraper and lock with lever (2) (turn lever upwards).
