Weekly Skid Steer Inspection

Weekly inspections is a proactive approach to maintaining your Skid Steer to prevent breakdowns and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. It helps avoid unexpected downtime and repairs, and also helps extend the life of equipment and facilities, saving money in the long run.

    Engine off Checks-Prior to starting the engine, check the following items.

    Fluids-Ensure proper level, add as needed.

    Filters

    Belts and hoses- check for cracks, splits or fraying

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Battery

    Seat belt-Free from cuts, tears, rips or fraying

    • Pass

    Attachment rest-Check for cracks. Ensure locks operate correctly

    Treads-Check tension and adjust as needed

    Grease all pivot points
