Blue Ribbon Linen Supply 38458: Blanket Folder Lockout Procedure

Blanket Folder Lockout location and procedure

Lockout is located on the discharge end on/off switch.

Procedure

1. Prior to doing any work or clearing jams on machine, shut down machine using normal shutdown procedure. Turn isolation switch to off, place personal or area lock through the hole in the on/off switch and lock.

2. Test the machine and confirm that the power is off and the machine cannot be restarted.

3. Complete work or clear jam.

4. Remove all tools and notify all personnel that the machine is ready to be unlocked and restarted.

5. Confirm area is clear of workers.

6. Unlock and restart machine.
