Check both the driven and non-driven ends of the trolley augers for any defect, report and repair. This inspection provides a systematic check of the trolley auger and its associated components to verify their condition and identify issues requiring corrective action.

Trolley Auger Inspection

The aim of the Trolley Auger Inspection is to assess the condition and operation of the auger and trolley assembly, identifying wear, damage, loose components, or obstructions that could affect performance. This inspection helps identify maintenance needs, prevent unexpected breakdowns, and support safe, reliable material handling.

Isolate and lock off the contrrol panel, using an engineering LOTO padlock

Add or drag pictures

Remove and inspect the non driven end support from the augers, located in the butter pump nose cone.
Check the length of both augers for any defect and sharp edges - repair and report
Check the support frames of the driven end of both augers - repair and report any defects
Check condition of master and slave bearings and bushes
Check oil level on drive gearbox - top up/change oil as required (220 grade food safe oil)
Lightly grease drive gears using food grease
Replace all guarding on machine

Remove LOTO padlock, reinstate power and test all aspects of operation before returning machine to production.
