Mistrello Monthly Inspections

01. Cable Drag Chains

• CLEANING: Perform thorough cleaning of the Figure 4.2 chains (Part.1-2-3), removing dust and any residues of natural / artificial stone with dedicated tools (brushes or compressed air).

• CHECK: Check the wear condition of the chains (Figure 4.2 Item 1-2-3) and replace them in case of abnormal wear such as to compromise the functionality of the Overhead crane.

• CHECK: Make sure the cables exiting the cable chain are not damaged and possible perform their maintenance.

02. Racks and Gears

• Visually inspect the state of wear of the gears and all other mechanical transmission devices, and replace if irregularities are found.

• LUBRICATION: Check that the gear racks and the gears (Figure 4.3 Items1-2-3-4) are correctly lubricated and possibly perform the greasing carrying out the intervention indicated in Figure 4.3.

03. Rack and Pinion

• Visually inspect the state of wear of the gears and all other mechanical transmission devices, and replace if irregularities are found.

• LUBRICATION: Check that the rack and pinion (Item 1-2Figure 4.4) are properly lubricated and, if necessary, grease them by performing the intervention indicated in Figure 4.4.

04. Supports with Bearings

• CHECK BEARING EFFICIENCY: Visually inspect supports with bearings

07. Right Angle Axis Gear Reducer

• CHECK: Visually check the component and clean it if necessary using suitable tools, removing as much dust and as many foreign bodies as possible.

• CHECK: Visually check the oil level, paying particular attention to the gaskets and external seals, looking for any losses. Perform maintenance or replace components if necessary

• CHECK: Carefully check for any wear or ageing of the gaskets and external seals, and replace the components if wear is detected.

08. Vacuum Pump Unit

• CHECK: The sealing and fixing of the pipes and of the screw connections must be checked, if necessary, sealed and tighten. Check the sealing of the terminal block and of the openings for the cables. Check the ventilation slots of the Overhead crane and the finned covers of the motor.

• Clean the suction air filter (perform this operation according to the dust level of the environment). Clean the GAS ballast filter.

• Check the oil level.

10. Bellows Suction Cup

• CLEAN AND CHECK: Check that the suction cups (Figure 4.10 Item 1) have no cracks and/or cuts and that they work perfectly. Check that the springs behind the suction cups are in a good condition and do not show signs of wear.

12. Prismatic Guides

• PRISMATIC GUIDES: Fill grease reservoirs monthly using Kluber CENTOPLEX GLP 500.

• Clean and remove and debris from felt applicators

• CLEAN AND CHECK: Clean prismatic guides using a clean dry cloth. Inspect for unusual wear.
