Small Metform QPM
The aim of the Small Metform QPM is to maintain the equipment’s condition and performance through quarterly preventive maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments as required. This maintenance helps identify wear, damage, or faults early, reduce unexpected downtime, and support safe, reliable operation.
Inspect the encoder for damage.
Inspect and grease all guide wheels on the infeed side of the roll former.
Inspect the tooling and tooling towers for damage.
Blow out all metal shavings from the roll former.
Grease the tooling stand bearings.
Inspect all roll former bolts and nut for tightness.
Grease the roll former motor cupping on the north side of the former.
Check the roll formers gear box oil level.
Inspect and lubricate the roll former drive chains and gears on the north side of the roll former.
Inspect the condition of the press entry cylinder and lines.
Inspect and grease the press die.
Remove the flywheel guarding and grease the fittings on the flywheel
Inspect the over all condition of the clutch. tighten the bolts on the clutch.
Inspect the condition of the flywheel belts.
Grease all press fittings.
Inspect the exit pinch roller and grease the stand.
Grease all 6 bearings on the material kick out.
Fill all air oilers with air tool oil.
Remove the exit conveyor guarding inspect all components condition and lubricate the chains.
Inspect the exit conveyor motor and check the gear box oil level.
Blow out the air filter in the electrical cabinet.
