Equipment Inspection - Shears

    Date of Inspection

    Prior to beginning inspection, shear must be turned off (make sure to release any stored energy)

    • Pass

    Visually inspect all mechanical parts for damage. Pay particular attention to the guage table position cable located under the guage table

    • Pass

    Remove any loose tie wire from all table areas and ensure bin is not full of cut offs

    Check for any loose bolts or parts

    Check for normal operation before shearing

    Check that all guards are in place
