Electric Kettle Weekly Check

A weekly check of your electric kettle should focus on cleaning, safety, and functionality. Regular descaling, especially in areas with hard water, is crucial to prevent mineral buildup. Inspect the power cord, plug, and base for any damage. Ensure the kettle shuts off automatically after boiling and that the handle is secure.

    Inspect heaters connections for damage or wear

    Ensure all heater fasteners are tight, add lock washer if needed

    Ensure heater protective covers are properly installed when complete

    Remove all tools and debris from any maintenance activity once it has been completed and inform the production supervisor so that appropriate sanitation and pre-operation inspection for any loose or missing fasteners (nuts, springs, etc) can be completed before starting and resuming operations.
