Use this golf cart inspection checklist to maintain the good condition of your cart. Your cart must be inspected for maintenance/repairs prior to parking permit approval.
Information:
Is SCUV equipped with paperwork? (i.e., manufacturer’s operating guidelines, campus maps, etc.)
Head lights:
Are head lights fully operational? (Both left and right)
Are head lights free of cracks or missing lenses?
Tail lights/Turn signal:
Are tail lights operational? (Both left and right)
Are lenses cracked or missing?
Are brake lights fully operational?
Turn Signal Lights:
Are turn signals fully operational? (Both left and right)
Tires:
Are tires inflated properly according to manufacturer recommendations?
Are there visible cracks or uneven wear?
Are tires free of foreign objects (nails/screws etc.)?
Battery:
Does battery have full water level?
Are cables free of corrosion and cracks?
Gas Carts:
Is there adequate fuel level?
Is there adequate oil level?
Brakes:
Are brakes fully operable? (i.e., stopping ability.)
Do brakes squeak, squeal or make grinding sounds?
Windshield wipers:
Are wipers operable?
Is windshield clear of cracks and scratches?
Horn: (if applicable)
Is horn operable and adequate?
Road Test Your Vehicle:
Any abnormalities?
If so, explain:
