Quarterly BESS Preventive Maintenance – POWIN
This procedure outlines the quarterly preventive maintenance inspection conducted at the site, covering the BESS enclosures, PCS inverters, and MVT transformers to verify proper operation, condition, and compliance with maintenance requirements.
BESS Enclosure via Visual Inspection
Visual inspection of Stacks, Battery containers, for rust on battery stack metal parts, cell connectors, cables and connectors, stability of racks. Visual inspection enclosure for physical damage and appropriate entrance locks in working order, sign of moisture intrusion, LED indicators on control hardware, Interior lighting and power supplies check for operation.
HVAC Operational Check
General state check out, mechanical integrity. Check for noise from fans and condensers. Pressure switch and thermostat control checking and adjusting. Cleaning and change of filters. Check Ambient Temperature to ensure HVAC operational. Check the drain system to ensure it is open and free to convey the condensate.
