#2 Pulverizer Preventive Maintenance

Mechanical

• Grease all bearings.

• Make sure manual lubricator is full of grease.

• Pull handle on manual lubricator 6 times to ensure proper greasing.

• Check all springs in shaker.

• Check all gaskets and seals are sealing properly.

• Check sight glass for any damage or leaks.

• Check all piping for damage, holes or leaks.

• Check auger motor sprocket for wear and damage.

• Check auger sprocket for wear and damage.

• Check auger chain for wear and damage.

• Check the tension on the auger chain.

• Lubricate the auger chain with chain lube.

• Check the belt sheave on the motor for wear and damage.

• Check the belt sheave on the grinder for wear and damage.

• Make sure all hoses are free of damage.

• Make sure belt guard is free of damage.

• Make sure all bolts on the entire machine are tightened.

• Check blower for any damage and holes.

• Check all bolts on the blower.

• Check vibrator stand for any damage.

• check all air valves are functioning properly

• Check belt alignment on grinder.

• Check for proper tension on grinder belts.

• Open filter housing and make sure filters are not damage.

• Make sure shaker is not damaged and sealed completely.

Electrical

• Check console that all buttons are tight and functioning properly.

• Clean all dust inside console.

• Check every terminal that the wires are tight and secure.

• Check motor bolts that all are secure.

• Check all wiring for damage and for exposed wires.

• Check shaker motor for any damage.

• Check auger motor for any damage and motor is secure.

• Check all solenoid caps and make sure all are secure and functioning properly.

• Check wiring to vibrator and that its functioning properly.

Before signing off

• Make sure all breakers are turned back on.

• Make sure all doors are shut and secured.

• Make sure all of the asset has been turned on and tested.

• Make sure all tools are removed from area.

• Make sure all trash is picked up and disposed of properly.

• Make sure all parts used is documented on this PM.

• Make sure all items that can't be fixed has a work order made.

• Let supervisor/operator of area know that you have completed this PM and asset can be safely returned to service.
