HAUSCHILD Weekly PM
Authorized Team Members must isolate the equipment according to Chewy’s Hazardous Energy Control Policy and follow all lockout/tagout restrictions, as violations may result in disciplinary action. This weekly PM checks the machine exterior, electrical connections, lid, mixing chamber, cup holder, operating weight, vibration, and noise, then includes cleaning and photo documentation of any issues.

HAUSCHILD Weekly PM
Authorized Team Members are required to perform equipment isolation in accordance with Chewy's Hazardous Energy Control Policy as well as complying with the restrictions and limitations imposed upon them during the use of lockout tagout. Disciplinary action will be taken against all violators according to Chewy's disciplinary policy.
Inspect Machine Exterior
Check housing and stand wheels/feet for damage, looseness, contamination, or anything that could affect operation.
Inspect power cord and electrical connections
Check the power cord, plug and electrical connections for damage, looseness and abnormal conditions.
Inspect Lid and Lid-Locking Components
Check the lid, manual lid lock and locking components for damage, looseness or abnormal wear. Confirm lid closes and locks properly.
Inspect the mixing basket / mixing chamber
Open the lid and inspect the mixing basket and chamber confirm it is correctly seated and not damaged or showing any excessive wear or abnormal conditions.
Inspect cup holder and mixing cup
Check the cup holder and mixing cup for cracks, deformation, damage, excessive wear or abnormal conditions.
Verify operating weight is within limits
Verify total weight (cup + holder+ material) is within weight limits. Verify with pharmacy tech logs/
Check for abnormal vibration and Noise
Verify the unit has no abnormal vibration or noise.
Clean machine
Clean machine and inspect for any external damage or abnormalities.
Document with pictures any abnormalities or issues that need to be addressed by Hauschild.
