Emergency Lighting Testing BS 5266-1
This procedure is used to inspect and test the emergency lighting system for compliance with BS 5266-1. It records the type of test performed (monthly function, 1-hour, or 3-hour battery), luminaire position, duration, charging indicators, noted defects, and the certification signature.

I hereby certify that the emergency lighting system described in the "Details of the inspection undertaken" Section above, has been inspected and tested and in accordance with the "Results of the Inspection and Testing Section, and to the best of my/our knowledge and belief , the installation complies with the appropriate recommendations and requirements of BS 5266-1: 2016 Emergency Lighting Part 1 : Code of practice for the emergency lighting of premises and BS EN 50172:2004 ? BS 5266-8 : 2004 BS 1838 : 2013 Lighting applications - Emergency lighting systems , except for the deviations, if any recorded in Details from the recommendation section.
