This daily inspection check is one of the most important steps you can take to extend the life and performance of your machines.
Daily Visual Inspect
Truck appears clean, free of excess grease, rust, and damage.
ensure all lights and reflectors are present and undamaged. No rust, dents, or damage to cage, body or controls
Warning Decals are present?
Stickers are legible, and undamaged. Manuals are in the correct places.
No Apparent leaks on or around machine
Inspect for leaking or pooling fluids on, near, around cylinders, chains, wheels
Daily Physical Inspect. Start up/ operating
Controls and gauges work correctly
Start the truck, ensure gauges, lights, horn and ESTOP all function as intended.
Boom Operation
Ensure the boom travels safely and smoothly UP, Down, Side shift, and Tilt
Safe Traveling Operation
Ensure the truck engages forward and reverse smoothly, starting and stopping movement without grinding or chattering.
