Stamping Station

• Check the stamper cups (2) for wear and replace if necessary.

• Oil the chain for the stamping unit (6)

• Check the chain tension of the stamping chain (6) and retension if necessary.

IF STAMPING CHAIN IS LOOSE FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE

• Loosen all screws (5) of the side plate (4) (operator and drive side).

• Move the shaft using the tensioning screws (8), thrust pieces (9) and counter nuts (7). This changes the transfer timing of swings in pressure cups!

• Retighten the fastening screws (5) (operator and drive side).

• The stamping chain must be tensioned to the same extent on both the operator and the drive side

Lubrication of Stamping Station

• Lubricate the lubricating nipple (2) at the guides of the stamping head (operator and drive side). For lubricants see Chapter 11.4.1.3 Bearings, guides, racks, spindles

• Lubricate the bearings of the stamping shaft at the lubricating nipple (1) (operator and drive sides).

• Lubricate the two lubricating nipples (4) on the guide lever (operating and drive side)

• Lubricate the guide rollers (3) of the roller guide for carriage forward feed (operator and drive side).

• Check the play of the guide rollers (3)

• Lubricate the cam roller (5) at the lubricating nipple (operator and drive sides).

• To make the cam roller (5) accessible, the cam disk must be rotated further until the lubricating nipple is visible.

Stamping Station Toothed Belt

• Check toothed belt (1) for wear, replace if necessary.

• The correct belt tension has been achieved when the toothed belt can be pressed in by 10 mm by exerting a force of 30 N (see arrow)

• ONLY USE TOOTHED BELT HTD TYPE 1600-8M-GT 30! When replacing the toothed belt ensure that the belt tension is correctly set.
