It aims to ensure that all tasks related to a maintenance, repair, or service job are completed, verified, and properly documented before officially closing the work order. It helps maintain quality, accountability, and accurate record-keeping.

Closing Work Orders Checklist

additional Information- failure to complete this checklist will result in technician not getting paid for time onsite and drive time to and from site. If technician has to revisit site for any of the below reasons, the technician will not get paid for going back to site. The technician is still obligated to go back to site to complete the WO. WO is not considered as completed until the below checklist is done. failure to complete WOs will result in disciplinary actions up to termination.

additional information - All WO's need to have closeout paperwork done and uploaded before you leave that site.

onsite and offsite time- every WO needs onsite and offsite time (no exceptions)

pictures- every WO needs pictures of work performed Before and after pics + any pics requested by vendor. minimum 6-10 pics per WO. (no exceptions)

Sign off paperwork- every WO needs to have a managers signature or authorized signature from onsite contact (no exceptions)

Work performed- every WO must have a detailed description of work performed onsite. this description must be justifiable based on how many hours technician was onsite. also in description use names of people you talked when contacting our vendors. Add any other relevant information in the description (no exceptions)

parts- every WO with parts, must be shipped out or dropped off at office location within 48 hours of leaving that site. If part is dropped off at office location, every part must have (New or used) and the WO # attached to it. Also receipt of part being shipped must be uploaded, with tracking #. (no exceptions)

Materials- list of all materials used for each WO
