Equipment/Instrumentation Launch Procedure

This procedure documents the launch of a new piece of equipment or instrumentation, capturing device details, staff training and competency records, connectivity status, reagent/SDS review, and leadership sign-off before the instrument goes live.

    Make/Model

    Serial Number and any other identifier

    Is this a new instrument to ZRL or do we have others in the network?

    Do we have SOPs published in MediaLab?

    What tests are launching on this instrument including on what species?

    Is the device connected to the LIS?

    Does this instrument use any new reagents that are new to ZRL? If so, has EHS be provided SDS?

    Has staff been formally trained?

    Who specifically has been trained (First & Last Name and on what date)?
